Mark originally hails from Winnipeg. He is married to Linda and has two children, Scott and Christine. He has been in the the risk management and insurance profession for 30 years and is presently the Director of Risk Management and Insurance for Nexen Inc. in Calgary.
He serves on the William H. McGannon foundation and on the advisory boards for Mount Royal College (Calgary) and Aegis and is the congregational chairman and an Elder at Peace Lutheran church. His past experience includes lecturing for the insurance program at Mount Royal College and the Insurance Institute of Canada. Mark is an avid sports fan, a collector of antiques and collectibles and enjoys painting in acrylics and encaustic.
